You’ve probably heard by now that BHT is moving out of the Wallace Street location, and shifting into a hybrid practice which will include seeing people:
- in a confidential and private room, or
- in outdoor walk-and-talk therapy, or
- for online sessions
I’m really looking forward to this reshaped way of working with you, and very much pleased to move forward with less personal stress regarding rent!
This post will hopefully answer any questions you have about the move and your future sessions.

Starting from Monday 22nd June, all face-to-face sessions will be held in either a private and confidential counselling room in Braidwood, or in an outdoor location at one of the parks around town.
How do I know where my session will be?
Room sessions are held on Wednesdays and Fridays.
I’ll send you the address after you’ve made your appointment.
Why all the secrecy?
Casually renting facilities comes with a little less security, which means I may have to change locations from time to time. I’d prefer to speak to you individually about your location address before each appointment, to reduce confusion.
How can I choose an outdoor session?
Outdoor sessions are offered to people who have already seen me in a confidential space first. When you’re in your session, we will talk about whether outdoor sessions are appropriate for you, and decide on a location together.
Can I just stay with online sessions?
Yes you may. Zoom sessions are available on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
I don’t have enough data for Zoom
That’s ok. Phone calls are also an option.
Since you’re just cruising around Braidwood, could you just come to my home?
I don’t visit people’s homes in person for sessions.
I’m excited about the ability to customise your sessions in a way that will work best for you, your needs and your lifestyle. We can do just about anything, so feel free to let me know any ideas you’ve got.
Communicating with BHT
As mentioned above, there is a new phone number for the BHT practice.

This is also my personal number, and is the best number if you want to get in contact with me. Leave a message if I don’t answer and I’ll call you back when I’m available.
You will still receive reminder messages from the booking system : 0438 782 295 . This is a dedicated number and when you reply with a “Yes” or “No,” the system automatically marks your response on my calendar.
It’s very helpful on my end if you reply to the reminder message, so that I know you’ve remembered your appointment and you’re going to be there.
For session times, the best way to book is still through the link on the website, because the calendar allows you to select a time that works best for you.

What about the Shopfront?
For all regular customers of shopfront products, including supplements, skin care, mobility products and snacks, I will continue to order items and bring them to your session.
If you’d like me to continue supply, let me know what it is you purchase and how often you think you’ll need refills, and I will make sure to have the supply available for you.
A new era
I have some new and exciting interventions coming to the practice soon, particularly helpful for people with anxiety and stress patterns. I can’t wait to show you!
